Magento's EAV attribute system is supported. Map any product attribute — including custom ones created for your store — to the correct field in your output feeds.
🌍
Multi-store support
Magento multi-store view architecture is supported. Generate separate feeds per store view for different markets, languages, or brands.

Configurable products
Magento configurable products (with multiple simple product children) are correctly mapped. Each simple product variant appears as a separate feed row with shared item_group_id.

FAQ
Magento Product Feed — frequently asked questions
Trajekt connects via Magento's built-in REST API. In Magento Admin, go to System > Integrations > Add New Integration, grant read access to Catalog (Products) and Inventory resources, and copy the Access Token into Trajekt settings.
Yes. Trajekt works with Magento 2 Open Source and Adobe Commerce (formerly Magento Enterprise). Both use the same REST API structure. Adobe Commerce's additional product attributes and B2B features are accessible via the API.
Magento configurable products are parent products with child simple products as variations. Trajekt identifies the parent-child relationship and outputs each simple product as a separate feed row, all sharing the same item_group_id (the parent SKU).
Yes. Magento's EAV (Entity-Attribute-Value) system allows any number of custom product attributes. Trajekt can pull any attribute accessible via the REST API. This includes GTIN/EAN, brand, material, or any other custom attribute you've created.
Magento's multi-store architecture lets you have different product data per store view — different prices, descriptions, or availability. Trajekt can be configured to pull data from a specific store view, enabling separate feeds for different markets (UK, EU, US) from the same Magento installation.
Trajekt needs read access to: Catalog Products, Catalog Inventory, Product Attributes, and Categories. Write permissions are not required — Trajekt only reads your product data.
Trajekt pulls regular_price as price and special_price as sale_price. Special price start and end dates are mapped to sale_price_effective_date. Tier prices (bulk discounts) are accessible but typically not mapped to standard feed fields.
Yes. Trajekt fetches Magento products in paginated batches via the REST API and handles large catalogues. Growth plan supports up to 25,000 products; Pro plan up to 75,000. For very large catalogues, contact us for enterprise options.
Trajekt currently handles simple and configurable products. Bundle and grouped product types may require custom rules to extract the correct pricing and product data. Contact us to discuss your specific Magento product structure.
No extension installation is required. Trajekt uses Magento's built-in REST API which is available in all Magento 2 and Adobe Commerce installations.
Trajekt pulls Magento category names and allows you to create mapping rules to Google's product taxonomy IDs. For example, "Men's Jackets" in Magento can be mapped to Google category 1604 (Outerwear).

Agency tip:Magento stores often have rich attribute sets — Trajekt can pull all custom attributes and use them to build more complete Google Shopping titles than native Magento feed exports
Common Magento feed problems — and how Trajekt fixes them
Price mismatches — Sale prices changing in Magento but not reflected in your feed until the next crawl. Trajekt’s daily refresh (or twice-daily on Growth+) keeps prices current. A manual re-run can be triggered any time before a sale launches.
Missing GTINs — Magento doesn’t have a native barcode field in all versions. Trajekt maps your custom barcode/EAN attribute directly to the gtin feed field via a rule. Branded products get their GTINs; own-brand products get identifier_exists: no.
Thumbnail images — Some Magento configurations export thumbnail image URLs rather than full-size images. Trajekt maps to the full-size image URL via the API, ensuring images meet Google’s 800×800px recommended minimum.
Unoptimised titles — Default Magento product names are written for on-site browsing, not Shopping search matching. Trajekt rules restructure titles to the Shopping-optimal format (Brand + Product + Attributes) without changing anything in your Magento store.
No custom labels — Magento has no native custom label concept for Shopping. Trajekt sets custom_label_0–4 automatically via rules — by price range, category, stock level, or any field in your Magento data.
